Why does my camera turn on but won't extend the lense?

My camera turns on but the lense won't extend. The screen tells me “turn the power off and on again" but I've done several times and the lense still won't extend? What do I do?

Kim Sanch there are a few things you can try to check on your stuck lens. Check on here. If none of that works you do need to take a closer look at the lens itself. Parts are difficult to come by for any repair of the lens assembly so you may consider replacing the complete lens assembly (part number is A-1268-104-A) .
