iPhone SE gets trapped in boot loop when screen closed

I just replaced the screen on my iphone se and it worked perfectly for a few days, then I reset it and it became trapped in the boot loop. I’ve opened it up and checked all the connections and everything’s fine and restored it through my computer. It works perfectly fine and battery charges and holds a charge, but only if I do not close up the screen. If I close the case, it gets trapped booting up again.

It’s either a bad screen or there is a board-level fault with the logic board. Haven’t done any board repairs on this model yet so I don’t really have an idea what is the cause for it.

Thanks for your help! I think I must have had a longer screw in a wrong spot. Once I removed the bracket and screws from atop the camera connectors, the screen could be set back and currently it's working.

My iPhone SE was run over by a car during a trip and when I got I got home I prepared the screen and made sure nothing else was wrong. then I gave it to a relative and they said that it had a lot of problems and needed to be fixed again. So, I realized the logic board needed the fixing. I replaced it and then now it reboots repeatedly and then crashes and the screen turns black, no one in the family can remember the passcode so it just reboots then tells me that it will be disabled for 5 mins. I’m pretty familiar with fixing phones and am pretty sure that it’s just the logic board or just some metal mechanism in the screen that his touching something its not supposed to. If anyone could help me or give me some advise that would be great!

Rebooting like that usually means either a bad battery or one or two components right above the battery connector have gotten dislodged or missing.

The components right above battery connector are responsible for recognizing the battery and the amount of power it can output. If the phone can't tell how much power it can take from the battery it'll take too much causing the phone to reboot.
