Hi, the on/off switch on my new Shure SM58S is quite loose. When I turn the mic on, the switch slides to the off position VERY easily. Is there a way to tighten it - or should I return it and hope the next mic is better? Thank you for any help!

If it is still within the manufacturer’s warranty period, I suggest that you return it for a replacement.
If it is no longer in warranty, here’s a link to a video that shows how to replace the switch.
I cannot find a replacement switch online, you may have better luck.
You could always try contacting Shure and ask if the switch is even available as a spare part.

This video is the WRONG answer. The question involved an SM-58S wired mic. Not the wireless unit shown here!

I am dealing with the exact same issue. Just called Shure to find out about a replacement switch but have not heard back yet. Any luck?
