U2 FAKE CHARGING 5s

Hi Everyone… HI @refectio SIR.

I have and iphone 5s , not charging. (NOT WATER DAMAGE)

(I obviously Change USB connector FLEX , battery , charging cable )

I Check all U2 voltage, everything is perfect,

I changed U2.

Before change u2 iphone doesnt recognize cable, after replace u2 cable recognize (but fake charging)

I change also q2, but the problem is same.

I check better under microscope and verify c275 is missing, and i replace it.

The strange thing is : when i connect cable iphone start charging but (slowly slowly, after max 60 sec) stop absorb current and show fake charging.

Slow and fake charging is usually Tristar related so I would try and replace the IC again, just to be certain. I would also closely inspect FL11 and probe Q4/L8 to insure everything is working properly there.

I already replacd two times Tristar but the problrem is same... FL11 L8 and q4 is well... is there something is wrong in PMIC? if yes sir.. which is the way to verify it?? thanks

@refectio The problem solved "MAGICALLY" Sir..

When i try only board , battery and LCD connected, the phone wont charge.. when i reassemble phone completely, the phone charge normally..

I think i dont connect perfectly the battery..

you confirm me sir plz.. if i try to charge the phone connecting only battery to the board the battery charge anyway?? or its better reassemble completly phone before test??? thanks

The logic board with a good battery and charge port will charge the battery correctly. If you don't already have one, use a USB Ammeter when troubleshooting a phone...it's a great low-cost tool!
