Why does it stop after freezing for a while
if I turn on my refrigerator, the freezer will work for just 15-20mins then stop freezing. but it will continue cooling

Maybe it's reached the set temperature. If you have a thermometer put it in the freezer to check the temperature. If it's not cold enough adjust the thermostat, and keep using thermometer until you get the temperature you're looking for.

the thermostat is already at its highest point (7), but what i discovered was that the coil at the back was warm/hot for some mins and then stopped
