Screen not rotating when flipped closed facing out.

Anytime the camera is not being used I close the screen (lcd facing in toward the camera). The issue is when the screen is opened and flipped. The screen no longer rotates when opened, flipped than closed. Anyone have any ideas?

I opened it up before posting the question and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I didn't undo any of the ribbon cables so I'll give that a try.
