Is the iPhone 8 Plus Bare Logic Board Icloud unlocked?
Iphone 8+ Icloud unlocked? And if so how do I replace it.

To say it is unlocked would be quite an understatement ;>). It is beyond unlocked because it doesn’t have any electronics on it and really serves no useful purpose other than the cool factor.

It does allow someone to practice their micro-soldering skills.
I've always wondered about these do these actually have all the inner layers as well???
@danj I don't know about that because a bare board is a very unrealistic environment. Most of the challenge with micro-soldering iPhone logic boards is due to the component density. But I agree, it does give you an idea of scale.
@c9679 Some of these seem to have all the layers...a good way to practice LSD. However, I don't know if they are truly defect free when it comes to inner traces. I like to have them on hand when I need to see how the external traces move around, something you can't always do with a fully populated board.
@refectio I've never seen one in person only in pictures and the only thing I've ever thought it would be useful for was extreme long screw damage
Didn't think they would be good for practicing Microsoldering though because theres no solder on them if u add leaded solder it's not going to feel the same as the original unleaded and when u get to a real board u would be left wondering huh whys the solder not melting lol that and obviously avoiding other components that u need to learn which u cant on this because theres no components at all lol
@c9679 - You don't need to use a leaded solder, you could just and easily use the non-leaded solder as well if that was important. Both solders react the same just slightly different temps. Most people wouldn't know or see any difference.
