Hi my TCL 55 Inch tv the sound stops working on BBC channels after a few seconds, but the picture is ok, and it is all ok when switching to Other channels like ITV Or any other channel. Any advice will be helpful,

Hi @cityman ,
What is the model number of the TV?
Does the input signal come direct from an antenna into the TV or from a "box" of some description?
If from an antenna have you tried rescanning for all the available TV channels on the TV again and then checking whether it is now OK on the BBC channels?
If a box have you tried turning off the power to the "box" and then powering it up again?
If from a box, what type of connection is used between the box and the TV, HDMI or AV?
If HDMI can you try a different HDMI input on the TV?
If HDMI can you try an AV connection - (component video r/g/b/+ r/w or composite video y/r/w) between the box and the TV and check if the problem occurs?
All the above are just to try and narrow down the area of the problem ;-)

Hi guys my 5v has took a major step for the worse now, 3verytime I turn it off or put it on standby I have to put in everything as if it's a 1st install, been on to the firm I bought it off as it's still less than 12 months old, they passed me on to TCL, Who did all the scan and updates I did, nada, still the same, now I've been passed to a consultant engineer, who will give me a phone call in the next 24 hrs, if not back on to the firm for a new tv which I am not paying for... thanks for your help.
