Is this a good replacement display?

Where did you buy it and how much did you pay? That is usually the best indication of quality when it comes to replacement screens. The fact that it is missing the camera and proximity sensor bracket is indicative of a lower cost screen, therefore lower quality.

The other elements to consider are whether it’s an original LCD and how it was assembled (cold-pressed glue versus hot glue). I’m not a refurb expert but my initial assessment is that this is a low quality screen. Will it work fine…probably but the colour gamut will be off and it may separate if it is only hot glue assembled. Some replacement screens also have poor quality or incorrectly installed polarizing filters which can cause issues with polarized sunglasses.

When it comes to screens, you usually get what you pay for.
