I bought a used ipad…it's an A1395. I work construction and i go from job to job and i bought it from another contractor and i got shipped to another job without getting his contact info and now i cant seem to get passed the screenlock code and everything i read seems like i may be screwed in doing so. My question is how do I get passed this screenlock/Apple ID? This is my first Apple device and im lost.

@mikeygee30 if the iPad has activation lock enabled on it, you will need to enter in your Apple ID and password linked to the iPad to activate the iPad which will prompt you during the initial setup process after restoring an iPad.If you do not remember or know the linked Apple ID with the password then you will either need to reset password via email forgotten password on apple's website or get it removed via apple if you are the original owner of the iPad with proof of purchase. Of course, in the meantime you want to try what Apple tells you to do on here
