Display is not illuminating - by shining a light through the Apple logo on the back of the display assembly I have verified that graphical data is showing on screen, but it is not backlit. I’ve tried a separate known-good display and the same issue occurs. Does this imply the failure is not with the display but is instead due to a failure on the logic board? Thanks!

Your issue is within the logic board. It’s likely a blow fuse. This often is due to liquid damage. Did you spill something or sit the system down on a wet surface?
