Anyone know how to fix a broken screen on a Dell Inspirion 5570?
the entire screen ‘may’ be bent, if so it may be just a touch and not enough to replace he entire top monitor, just the screen itself. any thoughts?

Here’s a link to the service manual for the laptop, taken from this webpage.
Scroll to p.50 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove / replace the display assembly.
This should help you to determine what needs to be done.
If the screen needs to be replaced it may be that the display assembly is a complete assembly where the touchscreen is integrated with the LCD screen and is not a separate screen.
Here’s a link to just one supplier which shows all the various screen types and their cost that are available for your model.
There may be other suppliers that suit you better. Just search for Dell Inspiron 5570 display to get results.
