The keypad will not work

The till is a sharp ER-A420 in a small hotel last night it just stopped working it registered one item but would not let me register another one the only buttons that work are the journal and receipt switched it off over night but still displaying same item as last night can you help me please

@paul66 you may have to reset your register. Try this Press and hold the “Journal Feed” and “Receipt Feed” keys as you turn on the cash register. See if that resets it.
