My laptop is charging and all but the screen shows nothing at all
My laptop has been sitting gathering dust since a year …the problem is that the screen just doesn't start it is just dead

Hi, as you have confirmed the output voltage and charger have no problem, I suggest you reset or remove the battery for little time to reset to default the Bios.
Please note if it is under warrenty contact ur dealer.
Otherwise, check out the post, try to troubleshoot one by one.
