Hello,
Have the problem that my Mac Mini mid 2010 no longer starts.
When I turn it on, the LED turns on and the fan runs, but the screen remains black. After a short time, the Mac Mini will start beeping 3x short 3x long 3x short. But what does that mean?
On the Apple side, I only find 3x long 3x short 3x long which indicates an EFI update error, but mine beeps the other way round. What could that be?

but there is also not the beep code that is on my Mac Mini. It says on the Page 3 times long 3 times short 3 times long but on my Mac mini the code is 3 times short 3 times long 3 times short.
I've encountered both and both are related to EFI failure.
how do i get this fixed? there is no firmware rescue dvd for the Mac Mini mid 2010 on the apple page
thanks, but how do I get the firmware reinstalled if the screen stays black and just beeps the Code for SOS?
