BL481 Ninja Blender No sign of power getting to blender no lights

Hi,

Do you have a DMM (digital multimeter) and know how to use it?

If so, disconnect the blender from the power and then connect the DMM (Ohmmeter function) across the two power pins on the power cord plug and check if there is a reading on the meter.

If there is no reading then as you will have to open the blender anyway first check that the wires in the power cord have continuity from the plug to where they connect in the blender.

After that inspect the blender circuit board for any possible problems, e.g. loose connections or burnt out components.

If none visible then it is a matter of tracing the wires from the power cord connection point on the circuit board through the circuit board using the meter.

I cannot find a service manual or a schematic for the blender so it may be a case of point to point testing using the Ohmmeter until the problem is found.

Usually a no power problem is at the front end of the board where the power first comes in and not deeper into the circuit e.g. fuse, surge suppressor etc

If you haven’t got a DMM or even if you have then post some close up images of the circuit board back here and hopefully something may be spotted that you missed.
