Hi everyone,
Replaced the battery in this old iPhone 5s and everything works great except the flash.
Any ideas what this could be?
I did remove the screen but I thought I took great care not to stress the ribbon cables.
Maybe one is not connected fully.

Check the flex cable assembly, which just so happens to run under the battery. I’ve damaged that a couple times during battery replacements and let me tell you, it is a pain in the butt to replace. You can see it in step 29 and where it connects on the board in step 21. iPhone 5s 배터리 교체하기

From what I read that cable also controls the volume and power and they work great. Now, I maybe wrong about that.
I read before I attempted the repair not to stick put anything under the battery near that location and I didn't but something went wrong.
I was able to get the tape out of the one side opposite the logic board and was able to use the spudger to lift up one side and get it out.
It is an old phone that we use around the house for text sometimes.
I did turn the flashlight on to deplete the battery before I worked on it but that would not cause this i don't think.
It works perfect other than the flash.
