Touchscreen has stopped working

After a small impact, my touchscreen is non-responsive. The display itself is ok. I tried a software update, but of course I need to access the touchscreen to connect the phone - so no good. Any help is most welcome.

Luke H If your update etc did not get anything accomplished, I believe it is time to replace the digitizer. It is available in places like this and here is a teardown that could guide you through this job. Good Luck
