Hard mod to overclock CPU/GPU?
Look I don't mean to come across the wrong way but if you don't know how to do it don't say it's ‘impossible’ - your ignorance doesn't make it impossible and I will vote you down. Also I do have more than a few posts here where people said it was ‘impossible’ and I did it anyway so there's that too…
And yes I am aware temps will be a problem but I got a plan to sort that so the question remains: how to hard mod the iMac and get the CPU (and maybe the GPU) to overclock?
I'm thinking something that would be stable on a regular PC perhaps about 15%~25%…?
Small bump in voltage along with changing FSB multipliers maybe…? Any ideas?
I'd be keen on a softmod as well but that would likely be overwritten everytime I upgrade the system so a hardmod would be more what I'm looking for :)
(Can I attach the schematic and boardview here or would it go against the rules?)
Any actual help would be nice. Why can't we show PC people they are not the only ones that can have fun with their mods…? ^^

@mayer - I know.... Carlos never likes any answers we give him. I wish he would first try to understand the basics and not always trying to prove people wrong.
A brain surgeon didn't just get out of high school and opened a practice, they spent many years of learning. And even then try to understand more by seasoned pro's learning on what they know.

@danj This guy has down voted you 6 times and me 4 times. He doesn't deserve the time of day from either of us.

@mayer - Yep! You're right.

And what help any of you actually offered?
"-Hi my screen flickers when I use Outlook please help.
-Your display is dying and you'll have to replace it""
No! All I need to do was to downgrade the Outlook version then after a few updates MS fixed the issue and it never happened again. Were I follow your advice it wouldn't have done anything to fix it and I would had spent over a thousand dollars for nothing!
"-Hello I'm having issues that are not described on the guide please help.
-Here's the link to the guide please upvote me"
No! I already said it's not on the guide and you're not helping at all why should I upvote you?
Eventually I found out the answer myself and posted there and you say I don't like the answers given? Send something helpful - even a link pointing to find a solution - not a canned reply that I should buy a replacement or a copy/paste to something I already stated ain't helpful.
I'm pretty sure this is called iFixit not i.will.tell.you.to.buy.replacement.parts or here.is.a.useless.link
