MBP shutting down halfway through Apple logo

Gets 50-75% through Apple logo loading bar on startup, hangs, then goes to blank grey, then shuts off.

Has been tested with known working HD and RAM. Reset SMC & NVRAM/PRAM. Replaced HD cable with replacement from iFixit. Same behavior in all cases. Are there any explanations left besides a logic board problem?
