Replaced battery, but it won't charge beyond 21%

So I replaced the battery in my XPS because the old battery only lasted a few hours and it was beginning to swell. The new battery fits fine, but it won’t take a charge of more than 21% of capacity. That’s using the original Dell charger.

Hi,

Don’t know if you have done this already but if you have Win 10 installed, create a Win 10 battery report and check what is says about the new battery .

Also have you checked the charger’s voltage output is +19.5V?
