I have a blank black screen that has a “_ “ that keeps blinking
How in the world do i get this “_” off my screen? Soon as i boot it up its there. I can click on nothing, so im relying on my keyboard.

@duchess13me try a different monitor to see if that makes a difference. The blinking “ -” is usually caused by a computer not finding the OS and not the monitor.

So the monitor is busted and not the computer?
No it's more the other way around. Your computer cannot find the OS. Check with another monitor first. Maybe it's your HDD etc. but we do not know what you have your monitor hooked up to
