Would I be able to upgrade my intel core processor from i3 to i5?

i don’t know if the processor is integrated into the motherboard, and i’m unsure of whether or not a different processor would fit if the processor is not integrated.

Hi,

Bit hard to tell, but looking at the images at Steps.6-8 of the Asus Vivobook S500CA Fan Replacement guide, it appears to be that the CPU is hard mounted on the motherboard.

Click on the magnifying glass in the images and then click on the image again when it opens in a new page to really zoom in on it.
