Thermal fuse / vent ducting

If the thermal fuse is operating it means that the hi-limit thermostat - part #15 bulhead parts isn’t operating to prevent the dryer from overheating. The thermal fuse is the safety backup in case the hi-limit thermostat doesn’t operate.

There is also an internal bias thermostat (part #8 in link above) that should regulate the dryer temperatures that you may want to look at as well

This high-limit thermostat acts as safety mechanism to keep the dryer from overheating. Once the temperature decreases, the thermostat will restore heat in the dryer.
