Screen no longer goes on?
When I turn on my power book the screen does not go on and the apple doesn't light up. It doesn't work anymore with apple cinema display either.

You've stated that it does and does not work with a cinema display. If you can discern the desktop while holding a flashlight at an angle to the screen, it probably is the inverter. Here's the part you need if it is the inverter: [링크된 제품이 누락 또는 비활성화 됨: IF155-048]

Does it work when connecting to an AC adaptor?

IT only workds when I use the cinema display. The screen on the G4 doesn't go on even plugged in to power adapter. Took it to Apple and they think its the inverter but they can't fix it because it's too old. They gave me a place to have it repaired and it will cost $350 approx. to get it fixed.
