Can I replace the battery with a new one from another mobile type?

Hi all,

My mobile is Sony Xperia Z4, the battery was damaged (when reaching 50% or 60%, the mobile was shutdown), so I need to replace my battery (2930 mAh) with Huawei Nova 2 (2950 mAh) and with the same voltage and dimensions (of course I’ll replace my battery adapter with a new battery). Can I do this?
