My Chromebook has unreliable charging

When I plug the cable into either of the two usb slots, it generally does not charge. Aggressive jiggling will generally get it working, but the force I have to apply and the amount of jiggling is not normal. I replaced the charger with a Samsung charger, but it has no effect on the charging isssue.

Hi,

What is the model number of the laptop?

Only asking as the Samsung Chromebook 3 XE5 model (as selected above) uses a DC-In jack (example only) to connect the charger to the laptop and the USB ports aren't there to charge the laptop but may be able to charge external USB devices connected to them.
