Touch issues ONLY after I screw the phone back together

I replaced the screen on my iPhone 7, all touch is perfect (using outside of case with cables seated and brackets on over the connectors) until I screw together the phone again, and ONLY when I screw in the pentalobes. Then the touch is scuffed, with a 2cm dead zone a third the way up the screen and a tendency to randomly press anything on the very bottom centimetre of the screen, especially on the bottom right. I have inspected the screen and there’s some give on the lower half of the backplate which occasionally sticks back flush if you hold it together long enough so it’s like the shield above the home button’s adhesive has come loose or something idk.

The issue is super annoying and I struggle to complete normal tasks on my phone, so even a little help would be hugely appreciated. I’m honestly considering not screwing it together at all lmao.
