How do I fix a crease on the collar?

The collar of my Nano Puff has creased, bending inward to my neck. How can I undo this crease so that it fits more comfortably?

If ironing a synthetic jacket like this Nano, it important to use a piece of cotton fabric (clean pillow case) as a press cloth between the iron and the jacket so that you don’t melt the jacket shell fabric or the insulation inside. You can also buy silicone paper to prevent scorching or demarcation.

You could try snipping off an appropriate length of say a zip-strip, opening that seam with a thread ripper, poke a couple holes it it so you can put a stitch or five to keep it where you need it and then sew it shut. If you don't want to rip the seam you might get a away with poking a stiff wire (coathanger perhaps) in there and injecting an appropriate adhesive (maybe contact or rubber cement...). The first option strikes me as much better, though. I don't think a collar stay would be long or stiff enough to fix it. Probably need to do both sides because stiffening that side will probably cause the other side to do it instead.

bruh. buy an iron, or go to your mom’s house and ask her to fix it for you.

Hey Mark, I own a nano puff too and mine has the same issue. I believe the other answers will help with wrinkles, but the crease in question is more than that. The zipper is stiffer than the collar, so the zipper stands upward and the collar bends to meet it instead of holding a crisp point. I have found that folding down the collar avoids the issue, but have found nothing that remedies it. I hope that input from someone who actually owns a NP and also deals with this issue may be more helpful than someone who assumes the issue is due to an adept domestic skillset. Thank you for the question.

(p.s. I have wondered about collar stays but am understandably hesitant about modifying my jacket to accommodate them)

Hey Mark and Reece... same thing here. I get it, Mark... and Reece, your answer is awesome. It's not an "ironing issue," and both of my nano's have the %#*@ collar fold. I eagerly await a real solution.

A warm iron over a dishcloth slowly working up the temperature worked well to get rid of my kink.

Hi Debbie and Mark,

Thanks Debbie, the image does show up later in the post.

I just became aware that we have moved some of the product id data to a smaller label underneath all those nested labels. Can you take a picture of this label please?

We can take this conversation further and possibly come back here with a better option and explanation on why we are seeing this. The difference between apparel quality on an appearance issue due to design-construction and expressing dissatisfaction vs wear and tear functional flaws that can be and should be repaired is something I like to distinguish and identify. We Guarantee everything we make and if you aren't satisfied, we want to hear about it. Thank you for your assistance in helping us evaluate this further.
