Replacement battery not recognized, not OEM specs

On battery install, warning about not recognizing battery. I turned off notification in BIOS. It registered 60%, I drained for calibration, now won't work without adapter plugged in and reads battery as 0%. Shuts down when adapter unplugged.

where did you get the battery from? I wonder if Dell serialized the battery, essentially tying it to that specific machine...

I got mine from I fix it and same problem. Warning message on startup that it is not a Dell battery and it refuses to charge it ?

Dell has stopped supplying these batteries, and my bios tells me the battery is not recognized. I purchased from IFIXIT
