If the laptop worked fine BEFORE you scratched (?) the CMOS battery then just replace the battery. The CMOS battery is how the laptop keeps all the settings for the BIOS/UEFI - how the computer knows what to do.

Let us know how it goes. These “CR2032” batteries are cheap and can be purchased just about anywhere.

I understand but pins under the cmos battery doesn’t hold battery itself.. I search in google and CMOS battery cannot cause no booting ot no power, but thanks anyway i will try!

@FortniteshopBG

A corrupted BIOS can cause no booting and no lights. I've dealt with that problem at least 4 or 5 times but with the CMOS battery removed usually something will happen as that will cause the BIOS to reset factory default.

Looks like damaged trace(s), which can be repaired using solder or jumper wire. Here's a video illustrating the basic idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLf1gBg7...

If your Toshiba laptop shows no signs of life, a dead CMOS battery could be the culprit. The CMOS battery powers the laptop's BIOS settings and clock. Try the following steps:

1. Check the power cord: Ensure it's securely plugged into both the laptop and the wall outlet.

2. Power button: Press the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any residual power.

3. CMOS battery: Locate the CMOS battery (usually a small round battery, like a watch battery, located on the motherboard). Remove it for 30 minutes to an hour to reset the BIOS.

4. Reinstall the CMOS battery: Put the battery back in its original position.

5. Try to power on: Press the power button to see if the laptop turns on.

If the laptop still doesn't show any signs of life, it's possible that the issue is more serious and requires professional attention. You may want to contact Toshiba support or a authorized repair center for further assistance.

Keep in mind that if the laptop has been inactive for an extended period, the main battery may also be drained. Try charging it for a few hours before attempting to turn it on.
