My sony vaio is not charging and it is not because of the charger. For a while we had to bend the chord back to charge it, so I am assuming the input is bent. I'd like to know how to fix or replace it without replacing the laptop

brenden, I believe that the part you are looking for is relatively inexpensive and easy to fix. The DC adapter for the VGN S series is screwed to the motherboard with a single screw and the cables are mounted to the logic board via a simple connector.
