black screen on my olumpus stylus 7030 when turned ok
I turned camera off ant turned it back on screen black looks like a crack in the screen but no crack

Hi,
Can you view the camera settings menus OK?
Try taking some pictures and downloading them to a computer and check if they're OK or just black images.
I realize that you can't "see" what you're taking but the idea is to prove whether the problem is with the LCD screen, the CCD image sensor or the motherboard.
If the downloaded pictures are OK then hopefully it is only a problem with the LCD screen (supplier example only)
