Inspiron i5 graphics Card upgrade

So as of now, my GPU is slowly dying, as it has started to artifact when undergoing somewhat heavy programs (Half life 2/ garry’s mod). I currently have an nVidia GeForce GT 220, and I was wondering, what would be the most powerful GPU I can put in here? I was looking at possibly an nVidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti but i don’t know if that’ll work

Any GPU will work other than 2070-3090 1080 will work fine

Most GPU card suppliers specify the minimum PSU power requirements for the card.

Check the GPU card maker's website for support for the card you have or want.

For an Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti it is 600W PSU as the GPU uses 250W

As I said, check the GPU card maker's website for support for the card i.e. search for "(insert GPU card make and model number) support".

AMD just makes the GPU chip and this can be used by different GPU card makers who design their card around the chip.
