Since you have checked that the power adapter is working OK, not powering on sounds like a problem with the power supply in the device itself.

Powering on and not working is different to not powering on at all. You can’t reload firmware if the device indicates that it has no power.

If the device is still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, go the warranty route to get it fixed.

If the device is no longer under warranty you may have to open it up and inspect the board near to where the power connector is situated and check for any obvious component damage e.g. blown or overheated components etc.
