getting a weird logo on my iPod

i gt a new battery for my iPod 3rd gen it started to charge a bit on USB but then a strange logo came up

To charge your iPod 3rd gen, you need a FireWire to 30-pin cable, I believe the only thing you can do with USB on this pod is syncing.

@pats1952 the iPod 3rd Gen does not charge through USB but needs Firewire connection. This model only syncs through USB. With a new battery it needs to have a Firewire charger or Firewire connection on your computer etc. It will NOT finalize on USB
