I was given a Philips PhotoFrame
Model No.:8FF2FPW/37
When I plug the digital photoframe into the outlet and push the power button it does not turn on, the screen remains black.

Needs a firmware upgrade - Your phtoframe has shut down into a power save mode as yo umay not have used it for a long time. Upgrades on the Phillips web site

how do I upgrade?
Can't upgrade if you don't have power. Drivers wont install besides that.

Besides the batteries, have you checked your adapter to make sure you have output?

I have the same problem but can’t do any upgrades because can’t turn it on . Any suggestions?
