Oil drained out when mixer fell over unnoticed
my mixer fell onto its side during transport. Oil drained from it. Now it won't turn on.

Phil Story there really is no oil in your mixer. There is plenty of grease (6oz) and you may have some separation on that. It might also help if you let us know where it leaked. Check the SM KitchenAid K45SS And More to see how to deal with that grease and location of any gasket etc. May be time to change the grease :-).

i never did think the little baby mixers had oil i know the big hobarts do
