Phone turning off soon after turning on camera or opening other apps

Hey Jayeff,

I'm using Redmi Note 7 Pro I face the same problem with my phone and as you mentioned above I do face that problem (phone turning off soon after turning on camera and its not turning on until I connect charger). It happens same even when I tried to restart. So, even in my case I have to replace the battery?

edit: Just now I noticed not only camera instead opening any apps or making change in notification bar without charger it makes my phone turn off

Maybe try wiping the cache partition and if still no good, try starting in safe mode and check if it works OK, just to eliminate corrupted software as the cause of the problem

If still no good maybe try replacing the battery and then check.

It may be that if the battery was faulty the charger may not be able to run the phone and try to charge the battery at the same time, especially when opening an app as this causes more power to be used.

i am facing exactly same issue as u have mentioned ..its annoying the phone turns off and the redmi logo keeps flashing untill i connect the charger

so is replacing battery the only solution ? and how much will it cost?

Replacing the battery is the most obvious solution and if you do and it still fails at least you know that the battery is not the problem

Here's the ifixit Redmi Note 7 battery replacement guide that will help.

Search online for BN4A battery (examples only) to find suppliers that suit you best.

Thanx bro ...btw my phone was 3.5 years old ..so i ordered a new one ..but Im still thinking to replace this phone's battery and keep using it as my secondary device
