My water dispenser light just the water icon never goes out?

I just purchased a whirlpool French door refrigerator, model # WRF676SDHZ03, after 3 seconds on the water dispenser unit all the lights go out except “ the water icon” is this how it is suppose to be? Thanks

Please confirm the model number as the number you posted gives no results when searching online for it?
