Fan running loud while gaming

I will try the spray, I normally have it on stand when playing games. Its just odd that it only happens when playing games

Playing games places a lot of stress on the hardware in the laptop and the CPU has to work a lot harder than it normally does when say just browsing etc. This creates more heat and the fan is doing what it is supposed to do i.e keep the CPU cool and operating with its designed temperature range by removing the heat as quick as it can.

How much ram is installed in the laptop? If there is insufficient ram then the CPU utilizes the HDD as extra ram but this involves the CPU having to do a lot more work than if it could be done just in ram alone i.e. if you only have 4GB of ram then having 8GB would be better as not only are you playing the game, the operating system still needs it as well
