I recently broke the screen of my MacBook pro 15 inch mid 2015 model. I am not able to find the display for mid 2015 model anywhere near my place. The ones that are available are early 2015 model and 2014 ones. Just to make sure before buying it, are early 2015 MacBook pro displays compatible with mid 2015 model?

I think you've mixed the models here! There is no Early 2015 15" there is a Early 2015 13" which is a very different size!
So to be clear, no you need the correct part! 15" MacBook Pro, Retina (Mid 2015) Display Assembly, Apple P/N 661-02532 and here's the guide MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2015 Display Assembly Replacement And yes they are hard to find!
