Iphone 8 says iphone on the back and se2020 doesn't. It'll also say in settings.

@keith_themuscovyduck Does your housing have back glass? If so, look there for the Apple logo.

The model number engraved in the SIM card slot will tell you which is which. Rather than repeat the entirety of my previous answer, here's a link to it. Check the model number on your phone and look it up in the list I provided.

A1863, A1905, A1906 (Japan)
While the 2nd Gen iPhone SE 2020 will have one of these:
A2275 (Canada, United States), A2298 (China mainland), A2296 (other countries and regions)
