left click of glide pad is broken...fix or replace? how?

for the moment, i have switched the button functions so that the right click is acting as my left click and i use shift/f10 to get the usual right click functions but you can imagine how much i miss a correctly functioning glide pad and buttons. how do i go about replacing or repairing that left button? a step by step if anyone else out there has done such a repair.......

I would recommend an inexpensive wireless mouse that you could carry in your pocket as the least expensive method to resolve your problem. I'm providing a link to one possibility--there are many. Good luck.

From the data I found you have to replace the top case to replace the trackpad.
