I have this model laptop vaio sve14aa11w i think its cpu can be upgraded if it can what is the latest cpu that it can support and the laptop has some heating problems I just put some new thermal paste it got a bit better but it still gets hot without doing anything major (web browsing) I searched for this on the web but it looks like sony dosent have anything on this model

Is the CPU fan on high speed trying to cool the CPU down?
You may be only web browsing but check how many programs are running in the background and if they are totally necessary to be loaded at all on Startup. Go to Task Manager > Startup.
Also how much ram is installed in the laptop? If Win 10 is installed, I've found that 8GB is generally needed for smooth operation.
Did you mean a Sony Vaio SVE-141a11W?
If you refreshed the thermal paste on the CPU you should be able to tell if it was hard mounted on the motherboard or whether it was seated in a socket and therefore easily removable
If it is socketed, here's a list of the CPUs that are compatible with the Intel HM76 Express chipset that according to this webpage is what is used on the motherboard
This just means that these CPUs are compatible with the chipset and not that they are compatible with the BIOS version installed in the laptop.
