Why is my washing machine not spinning?

I just bought this washing machine off of someone and it hasn't worked from the moment I brought it home. At first, I was getting the lid lock error code (F5E1) which never made much sense because the machine was locking just fine and there was nothing interfering with that but after clearing that error code and trying to recalibrate the machine, I'm getting the error code F7E1.
I've gone through the manual tests and I'm able to turn the lid lock on and off just fine and the machine agitates fine as well but it does not seem to spin at all. My model number is 100.28002011. I would really appreciate any help I can get.

Presumably you meant 110.28002011.

There may be a problem with the shift actuator (supplier example only to show location of part). This changes the transmission over from agitate mode to spin mode

Here's the tech sheet for the washer.

Go to p.7 to see the possible causes for an F7 E1 error code and what to test

If the shift actuator is the problem, search online for WPW10006355 to find suppliers that suit you best.

The shifter won't prevent it from starting, but it will prevent it from spinning.

If the lid lock light is flashing, see Test #8 on p.18 for how to test the lock lock switch.

The lock itself may be operating but there may be something wrong with the lid switch or lid switch circuit. See the Lid Lock wiring diagram on p.20

That's probably why you're getting an F5 E1 code i.e. lid switch fault, not a lid lock fault which is an F5 E2.

If the lid switch is faulty search for W10404050 to find suppliers that suit you .

Yes, I'm sorry that is the model number I meant. Would that prevent the machine from starting? Because it won't even go through the sensing processes without the lid lock light flashing telling me something is wrong. Thank you so much in advance!
