@ericlovela79080 the very first thing I would do is to replace the screen. Use something like this video to help you replace the screen. Do an online search based on your phones exact model number for a replacement screen. It may not have anything to do with any upgrade, but it is the right thing to do, to fix your phone.

What is the latest update and it is possible that LG no longer supports any updates.

On the software front LG has always been terrible. They never updated their phones and when they did there have been times everyone else got the update 18+ months ago. For software you're likely stuck where you are especially with this being a TFW LG, they had tons of problems with this not just because of LG, but also TFW doesn't like to update their locked devices. My G4 got one major update and basically zero security updates before it croaked if I remember correctly.

As far as the screen goes it's doable but the problem is that the cost of it likely exceeds the street value of the device unless you pull one off of a bad IMEI device with these cheap phones. Even then that's usually the only way you're getting a screen for one of these devices because nobody just buys a screen for many of these. If they sell it it was pulled from a blocked phone, or they're selling one they had on hand unless you see that vendor has regular stock. Beyond that follow @oldturkey03's answer.
