More precisely, does the motherboard for this model still turn on if it has trackpad, keyboard flex cables and other devices removed except only for power switch and fans? So that the motherboard can be used as more like an desktop?

@paydownant you will need a drive for the OS as well. Trackpad and keyboard should not give you any issues for as long as you have a keyboard and a pointing device installed. I would minimize/turn everything off in the BIOS first. Give it a try.
