Display issues! Replace the LCD, the entire display, or the MBA?
Bought my 2018 MacBook Air new. It still performs well, except for a handful of vertical, top to bottom multicolored lines 1/16" inch wide, arrayed on the screen as a column about 1" across. (Works fine, without the artifact, on my trusty old Cinema Display.) Should I replace the entire video assembly, or can one or a few elements be replaced to eliminate the streak? An LCD fix seems delicate. But replacing the entire display is expensive. Older MBAs often fail and new MBA's are priced sky high. What's been your experience and/or solution(s)?
