So i was trying to clean my PS2 slim and now the power button won't turn on the console and there are no lights, i was wondering if i can turn on my PS2 slim without the power button so i can know if it's the motherboard or the console that has the problem

@sydney9842 i'd try to press the PS button on a connected controller to wake your PS2 up. Otherwise you could try to shorten the pads that the switch normally closes, with something like a paper clip etc. Post some good images of your power switch etc and let's see what is going on with that.

@sydney9842 if it worked before your tried to clean it up, then there is no reason to believe it is the power switch. Double check your work and reseat all cables etc.
